Dr. Arrington has been the best doctor I have ever met. I can't find words enough for the positive impression he left on me as a doctor and a person. I went to him to remove my stage three endometriosis and I was not let down. My husband and I flew all the way from Oregon to see him and if given the chance I would do it all over again. He is highly knowledgeable, professional and the most caring doctor I have ever met. I trust him with every fiber in me, he did nothing but put me at ease, calm me and put to death my every fear. His passion for what he does shows and he has great talent and skill. He is the most conservative surgeon I have ever met. I will be referring everyone I know to him and will be spreading his desire for less invasive surgery to every woman I know. I recommend every woman see him, you will never be disappointed but only thankful eternally for the decision to entrust yourself to him

Patient Experience with Stage 4 Endometriosis

I have been suffering from stage IV endometriosis for over 10 years. I have had many unsuccessful laperoscopic surgeries to try and alleviate my pain... the Doctors would cut me open to only close me back up and say there was nothing they could to do help me except take everything out (complete hyserectomy and opherectomy), the last Doctor even told me she would take some of my bowel and this would all have to be done via major surgery. This was not an option for me because menopause in my 30’s did not sound very appealing or helpful plus major surgery when I have 3 little ones to care for.

I finally found Doctor Arrington in my last moment of dispair! I was about to do what the other doctors were telling me was my only option when I read Dr Arrington’s website that he has been successful in helping people with endometriosis as severe as mine. He was a 6-7 hour drive but I called his office, right away I felt relief as I emailed him all my op reports and findings and he emailed me back with an optimistic outlook on my situation.

I made the decision to have him be my surgeon and it was the right one. He did the ‘impossible’... he was able, with laparoscopic surgery,to clean all my endometriosis out and still leave my right ovary and uterus in tact and my bowel! It was a miracle.

I have been treated previously in the states of Hawaii, Utah, California and Arizona and Dr. Arrington is the best and most skillful surgeon I have ever met, and definitely worth the travel! He is respectful, kind and mindful of his patients as well, which is rare, especially in a Doctor that is so skilled. I recommend Dr. Arrington to anyone! Thank you for restoring my health and hope!

Thank you for the outstanding care you and your staff provided to me. I am so grateful for your wealth of knowledge and sincere care and concern for your patients. I made it through it and it has been the best decision I have made for a long time! I feel great. I don't have any bleeding whatsoever (YEA!) and my complexion is 100% improved! I am happy with the choice we made together to have a hysterectomy. I have an improved quality of life in family, work and play where I don't have to be tied to a bathroom hour upon hour. Dr. Arrington was my third "second opinion" doctor on surgery with a very large fibroid. Other doctors in the SLC area told me my uterus was too big to be managed laparoscopically.

Dr. Arrington was the one who was confident to do the laparoscopic approach. He is very knowledgeable, experienced and caring. I was pleasantly surprised with how much time he took to explain things in detail, once he is in the room with you, you have his full attention and he will stay with you until your questions are answered. His office staff was wonderful as well.

I had robotic surgery with a very small bikini type incision at the end of January and my recovery was very fast with a minimum of medication; two weeks after the surgery I was able to run my first slow 5k without any discomfort or pain. Now two and a half months after the surgery (and 1/2 marathon) I do feel great.

I would highly recommend him to everyone who is looking for an excellent surgeon in advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgery.

Thanks to him I was able to avoid a costly surgery out of state. Thank you Dr. Arrington! - April-2010

Dr. Arrington is wonderful. He is genuinely interested in your health and takes considerable time ensuring that you are comfortable and well educated. I had surgery 9 days ago and I feel great. He is truly and expert in both his specialty and communication.

Dr. Arrington has forever changed my life. I had beed struggling with painful periods since I was 21. I was also trying to get pregnant with no success for about a year and a half. I saw Dr. Arrington for the first time in July 2007. He told me that I probably had endometriosis and to be sure he would have to do laparoscopic surgery. In Nov. 2007 I had the surgery. It was not bad at all and I was able to walk around 4 days later and go back to work one week later.

The next month after surgery I hardly had any pain and two months later I was able to get pregnant. Dr. Arrington is the best Dr. I have ever known. He takes time to listen and answer any questions you have and he explains things so you can understand it. I will never see another gynecologist again. - December 2008

I came half way around the workd to have my laparoscopic hysterectomy done by Dr. Arrington. Another doctor had told me that due to the large size of my uterus and numerous fibroids that laparoscopic surgery was not an option. I'm grateful for the referral I received for Dr. Arrington and the fact that he was able to see me so quickly and schedule the surgery on such short notice. The outpatient laparoscopic surgery with remarkably quick recovery was the best option for me. It was well worth the distance I traveled to have my surgery done by such an excellent and experienced specialist.

My life would come to a halt once a month due to endometriosis. I had a laparoscopic partial hysterectomy and I am a new woman! My recovery was short and in no time I was completely back to normal, with no monthly interruptions. I have energy, am exercising and finally losing some weight. I had multiple surgeries for endometriosis and even had a hysterectomy. Dr. Arrington did a surgery for continued painh and found endometriosis growing into the vaginal wall, ureter and bowel. He was able to remove it and I am hoping for a better recovery. - July 2007

Patient Experience with Prolapse Surgery

I had vaginal prolpast after a previous hysterectomy. Dr. Arrington was able fo fix my prolapse through three small incisions and I went home the same day. After only 3 days I was able to play with my kids and resume most of my normal activities. Much better for an active mom than staying in the hospital for 3-4 days as other gynecologists told me!! - May 2007
